Fresh off a career-high 31 points, Dennis Schroder will look to continue his hot streak tonight. It was a 31-9-4 game for the Atlanta Point Guard, cashing in 50 DraftKings points for his owners. Maybe we should have seen this coming as Schroder has been launching a ton of shots. He’s taken at least 19 shots in three of his last four, a feat which he only accomplished once in the first 15 games of the season. This isn’t the best matchup in the world, but there’s enough upside in a guy who only costs $6,000 on DraftKings.

Today’s Projections | NBA Game Logs | Player Scoring Calendar

Tobias Harris is quietly playing the best basketball of his season. He’s scored no fewer than 21 real points in any of the last three while averaging 37.25 DraftKings points in the process. This is the type of player that the Pistons thought they acquired as he racked up monster minutes on a nightly basis. Another game of that nature would be 6.3x value tonight. You’ll also unlock the roster flexibility as Harris can be slotted into either forward position.

Yes! We are finally getting Julius Randle on the court without D’Aneglo Russell. That’s not a knock on Rusell, it just means that the offense is running through Randle who is in the midst of a solid season. He’s a walking double-double threat and is coming off a monster 13 point, 20 rebound game against Chicago. He’s a little volatile, but his upside is tremendous. He’s scored 41+ DraftKings points in three of his last eight.

Here’s exactly what I wrote about Joel Embiid on Wednesday. With that game versus Sacramento being cancelled, this is all still relevant. It’s worth noting that Embiid’s minutes restriction is up to 28 and while this matchup isn’t as good, Embiid is still a viable option:

Who cares about minutes restrictions when you’re Joel Embiid? It sounds like Embiid will continue to be on a 24 minute limit but that hasn’t stopped him from putting up monster games. In his last four, Embiid is averaging 36.4 DraftKings points and hasn’t provided his owners less than 5.6x value in the process. Embiid has been a consistent value this season, scoring less than 5x value only twice this season. On the flip side, he’s cashed in for 6x value or better in six of his last ten games. Tonight is the matchup of the season against Sacramento who allows the most points to opposing centers.

I can’t get away from this game but Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is cooking right now. He’s scored 33+ DraftKings points in five of his last six. He’s scored 41.75 and 42.75 DraftKings points in his last two. That’s incredible value in the mid tier price range. KCP is contributing in all five categories and he’s taking six 3PA per game over his last six contests.
