I’d be re-missed if I don’t write about Goran Dragic soon. “The Dragon” missed a few games at the end of last month, but has been excellent since returning. Those six games have produced a 23.0/8.2/4.0 line which is averaging 42.4 DraftKings points in the process. His worst games in this stretch have even produced 32 DraftKings point and he’s taken at least 15 shots in every contest. Dragic has provided the offensive spark that the Heat need and he will be leaned on heavily against the defending Champs tonight.

Today’s Projections | NBA Game Logs | Player Scoring Calendar

Lou Williams continues to fill it out for the Lakers. He’s piled in 40, 38 and 24 points in his last three contests. Those are REAL points. His fantasy outputs have been 48, 58.5 and 31.25 DraftKings points. That last game, was his worst, but he did it in only 25 minutes in a blowout loss. Williams needs to get buckets to provide fantasy value, but he’s the main scoring option in LA right now. Expect a closer game, with full workload, for Williams tonight as he tried to stay hot.

We’ve talked a bit about the Heat who are super banged up right now. That has thrust Wayne Ellington into elite playing time. This  dude has played five games for the Heat this season, none with less than 27 minutes. His minutes have trended upwards, including 39, 33 and 41 (!!) in his last three games. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Ellington is a great talent by any means, but these minute numbers are hard to overlook. His been serviceable for his fantasy owners, with a legit shot to score 25-30 DraftKings points on a night basis.

Wide Andrew Bogut sidelines, Dwight Powell is the top beneficiary. He’s played at least 25 minutes in three straight while scoring 28, 25.75, and 25.75 DraftKings points in the process. The Mavs are pretty thin in the front-court and Powell provides eligibility at both PF and C. A date with the Pacers will increase the pace which should benefit an athletic freak like Powell.

Boogie, Boogie, Boogie. DeMarcus Cousins is not human. He’s a freak of nature. He’s a basketball God. He’s a dominant fantasy player who is in-line to be the highest scoring player on the slate. He’s scored at least 53 DraftKings points in nine of his last ten games. He’s cracked 60 points in four of those games and 70 points in two of those games. He is the first, second and third option in the Sacramento offense and he can fill up every category. Tonight he faces New York, who he dropped 67.5 DraftKings points on in their only meeting this season.
