A suspicious price decrease on Shelvin Mack ($5,200) who has been outstanding for the Utah Jazz. Sure, he had two subpar games in a row, but one was against the stout Spurs defensive. Mack is still averaging 30.5 DraftKings PPG over his last 15 contests. He’s launching twelve shots a night in that span and can contribute in most other categories. A date with Denver should be just what the doctor ordered for Mack to get back on track in a “buy-low” situation.

Wait for the injury report out of San Antonio, but with Spurs resting plenty of players down the stretch, Kevin Martin ($3,200) might become a large beneficiary. Martin has played 18+ minutes in four of six games while contributing 26 minutes on Friday night against the Nuggets. His production has also been encouraging, tallying 23.5 and 26.5 DK points over his last two games. With an uptempo pace expected against Golden State tonight, Martin could see a handful more possessions that usual. Certainly not afraid to take shots, Martin is worth a flyer at the near-min price.
Now someone you won’t have to worry about minutes with is Trevor Ariza ($5,800). Few guys log as many minutes as Ariza who has played 39.2 MPG over the last nine contests. He’s been a volatile option, so GPPs are your best bet when rostering Ariza. His upside is clear, scoring 44.5 on Thursday night against Phoenix. Ariza lives up to his “switchblade” nickname by being able to contribute in all categories. He’s one of the most well-rounded players in the league and he takes 6.7 3PA per game, also near the top of the NBA.
Expect many to opt for Thomas Robinson ($6,000), as you should in cash games. But if you want a GPP contrarian play, take a look at Andrew Nicholson ($3,800). The Magic forward has scored no less than 22 DK points in any of his last seven games, which would be 5.7x value tonight. He’s averaging 25.2 DK PPG in that span thanks to 15 real points per game. He won’t provide much outside of points and a handful of rebounds, but he’s been solid for the Magic down the stretch and is turning into a solid value option.
Call it the revenge factor. Call it a good matchup. Whatever you want to call it, Dwight Howard ($6,000) has killed his former team in three meetings this season. Despite only playing 28.3 MPG in three contests versus the Lakers this season, Howard is averaging 41.7 DK PPG. That’s a massive 1.47 DK PPM which is the equivalent of Steph Curry this season. I’d only be comfortable rolling him out in GPPs, but he’s an elite GPP play with his ridiculous upside.
