Whether he starts or comes off the bench, Jameer Nelson has been a staple in the Nuggets rotation. Thanks to injuries, he’s played 26+ minutes in four of five, which has resulted in plenty of fantasy points for his owners. Here are his last six contests: 47.5, 29, 36.75, 8.75, 30 and 28.75 DraftKings points. Outside of one dud, that’s great value for a player under $5K. He’s still a capable scorer at this age and the ball is in his hands enough to facilitate the offense and provide tallies in the secondary categories.

Klay Thompson feels like the ultimate “Fools Gold” tonight. He got so much coverage for his 60 point outing (and rightfully so) and now his price and ownership are on the rise. Klay is awesome, but he scored 60 real points and only 68 DraftKings points. Is that a concern? The fact that he didn’t do anything in the other categories? I would think so considering he only averages 3.5 RPG and 2.1 APG. That makes him extremely tied to real buckets. The Warriors played last night and now they travel to Utah for the worst pace and matchup in the league. If you’re riding Klay, expect him to come back to Earth here momentarily.

Now, Kevin Durant is the opposite of Klay. He’s a guy that filled up every category no matter what. He’s a lock for 20 real points with massive upside and he can provide you all five scoring categories with no issues. Yes, I don’t like that this is a B2B in Utah, but the price on KD sure is enticing. $9,300 is the cheapest he’s been since November 13th and the second lowest salary he’s had all season. This is your chance to buy low on a stud.
The injury to Nikola Jokic has provided more opportunity for teammate Jusuf Nurkic. He’s risking, but has double-double potential, which he showed on Monday with an 8-10 game for 31 DraftKings points. When Nurkic plays 20+ minutes (12 times), he has averaged 31.7 DraftKings points this season. This is a slightly above average matchup with Washington. Update: It looks like Jokic is trending towards playing which would significantly hurt Nurkic
