Pitchers:

A 7 game main slate has some interesting pitching options. Chris Sale tops the pitchers pricing at $14,100 on DK. He is a fine play, as he face the Phillies, who do like to strikeout a lot. You could fit him in, but it is not likely you can fit Sale and Coors bats in the same lineup. Jordan Montgomery faces the A’s in Oakland, so he will have a big park to work with. We all know the A’s suck, and Montgomery has put up big numbers in 3 of his last 4 starts. I think Jordan Montgomery will be chalky, so a fade in GPPs is in play. Jeff Hoffman is pitching in Coors, but has pitched great this season. The first game in Coors is normally the lowest scoring so Hoffman isn’t the worst play on the board, if you can tolerate the risk.

Hitters:

Boston Red Sox – Pivetta’s trash and can’t get past 5 innings. .428 wOBA to righties and .375 to lefties. I prefer the Betts, Pedroia, Bogaerts and Ramirez, but the lefties are fine too.

St. Louis Cardinals – Zach Davies allows a .425 wOBA to righties Gyorko, Piscotty and Martinez (if you pay up for Sale). Carpenter has been killing it in the leadoff spot.

New York Yankees – Sonny Gray isn’t great and gives up a lot of hits. The hits that normal teams get, could be HRs with Judge Sanchez and Holiday. They should go low owned with the Red Sox and Coors field on the slate.
