Pitching:

A full 15 game slate brings us plenty of pitching options, and at the top, we have Max Scherzer vs. the Mets. He is a fine play at $12,900, but there is reason to fade him. Yes he has been on fire, but the Mets do have some left handed pop. If Conforto plays, I’ll be more willing to fade Max. If he sits, we will see a Triple A call up thrown in the lineup. James Paxton has a high ceiling in this matchup vs. the Rangers, but could give up some bombs. He has been very good this season, and is in play in cash and GPPs. Jeff Samardzija pitches in Coors Field, but is in play. He has had good success in Coors, and presents very high K upside. Joe Biagini may become chalk, but is in a solid spot vs. the White Sox. If he becomes very chalky, I will fade, but I do like Biagini today.

Hitters:

St. Louis Cardinals – Gausman is trash vs, righties, Gyorko, Piscotty and Diaz are my favorite plays. Carpenter continues his hot streak in the leadoff spot. Camden Yards is a smaller park, with wind blowing out to left field.

Seattle Mariners – It’s super hot in Texas, the ball will be flying out of the park. Tyson Ross is making his start in the MLB since early 2016. He struggles vs. lefties and walks way too many batters. I’m looking to Cruz, Seager, Haniger, Cano and Gamel. For some reason Taylor Motter is only $2,500 on DK.

Milwaukee Brewers –  Miguel Diaz isn’t good. Thames and Shaw are in a fantastic spot, along with Broxton and Santana. .442 wOBA to lefties, so any lefty is in play. I doubt he goes long in this game, so we could see a lot of bullpen arms.
